Pro Wrestling eXpress' Singles
Rankings are the only accurate and legitimate rankings
around. Wrestlers are ranked according to how they
perform in the ring with wins, losses, title wins, title
defenses, quality of competition, and wins against
people who have been to the top of the mountain and
reigned as the Heavywight Champion in PWX. These are not
subjective rankings just thrown together, but are truly
earned.
As of June 27th, 2012, a wrestler can only earn a PWX
Heavyweight Championship Match by holding a ranking
within the Top 8. A wrestler can only earn a PWX Three
Rivers Championship Match by holding a ranking within
the Top 12.
The rankings are based off of an intricate point system
designed to accuratley rank wrestlers for their in ring
performance.
The point system is as follows:
15pts for PWX Heavyweight Title win
10pts for PWX Three Rivers or PWX Brass Knuckles Title
win, Sean 'Shocker' Evans Memorial Tournament win, Burgh
Brawl win
7pts for PWX Tag-Team Title win
5pts for singles (3-way, 4-way, etc counts here) win via
pinfall or submission
3pts for tag-team win, singles win via dq or countout
2pts for singles win via pinfall or submission against a
former PWX Heavyweight Champion or a successful title
defense via pinfall or submission or win via pinfall or
submission versus a Top 5 ranked contender
1pt for win via pinfall or submission versus a contender
ranked 6 thru 10, a successful title defense via dq or
countout, or strength of competition point awarded for
an excellent showing versus a superior ranked contender
